Our Christmas Travel Adventure with the Amazon 3-Piece Luggage Set

From December 13th to the 26th, our family of five — my husband, our three kids, and I — embarked on a magical Christmas trip across Europe. With three kids in tow and a packed itinerary, we knew we needed luggage that could keep up. So we invested in two new 3-piece luggage sets: one in sleek black and the other in crisp white, both from Velaybor.

Packing Smart for 14 Days

Despite the length of our trip, we challenged ourselves to pack light — just a carry-on and personal item each. Thanks to packing cubes, we managed to fit everything we needed for 14 days, including winter layers, toiletries, and even my laptop and travel electronics. The compartments in the backpack and pouch made organizing tech and accessories a breeze.

Airline-Friendly and Holiday-Proof

Every flight we boarded was completely full — holiday travel chaos at its finest. But these carry-ons fit perfectly into overhead bins, even on smaller European domestic flights. A few times they were gate-checked due to space constraints, but they held up beautifully. The black suitcase showed only minimal scuffing, barely noticeable, and the white one fared surprisingly well too.

Cobblestones, Stairs, and Public Transport — No Problem

We dragged these sets through cobblestone streets, up and down arched bridges in Venice, and across crowded trams, buses, and metros. The spinner wheels glided effortlessly, and the backpack stayed securely attached to the suitcase handle, making transitions smooth and stress-free. Even navigating train stations with three kids felt manageable — one less thing to worry about.

Final Thoughts

This 3-piece luggage set truly delivered. It was durable, stylish, and incredibly functional. Whether we were sprinting through airports or strolling through historic streets, it kept up with us every step of the way. If you’re planning a family trip and need reliable luggage that won’t slow you down, this set is absolutely worth considering.
